The Village Hall Management Committee

Flax Bourton Village Hall Community Interest Company is the first CIC to be set up under new Government regulations enabling the Village Hall to be professionally managed by an independent group of Directors.

It must adhere to normal good / ethical business practices, and any profits it makes must be reinvested in the company. Whilst Directors may charge for their expenses in attending to the business, in practical terms this is seldom done. Directors have also agreed not to charge any fees for their time or expertise during their membership of this C.I.C.
